BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha government on Saturday declared that all schools in the state will stay shut on Monday in perspective of the Bharat Bandh call given by the Congress over the rising fuel costs. 

School and mass instruction secretary PK Mohapatra said the schools will stay shut as a careful step.

In the interim, the legislature guided all authorities to go to office by 9.30 am on Monday.

“You are asked for to take every preventive measure to keep up lawfulness and to guarantee upkeep of basic administrations in the locale,” said Home division exceptional secretary Santosh Bala in a letter to the region gatherers.

The Congress has given an across the nation shutdown approach September 10 dissenting the ascent in fuel costs.
